A free, one-day celebration of culture, arts, and food in Shelbyville at a soon-to-be determined location in Shelbyville during Hispanic Heritage Month. 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Open to all. Handmade everything.

Visual Arts
Original paintings, photography, and mixed media from Hispanic artists.
Live Music
Live music perfomances potentially all day.
Crafts
Textiles, ceramics, leather, and woodwork — handmade only, no exceptions.
Food Artisans
Tamales, salsas, pan dulce, pastelitos, arepas etc, food trucks.
Botanicals
Herbs, flowers, succulents, and home-grown produce.
Kids Activities
Family-friendly fun.

Are you an interested artist, crafter, food artisan, or business owner? We'd love to have you. All items must be handmade or authentically sourced. Applications open July 2026.
The golden rule
Every item sold or displayed must be handmade, hand-grown, or authentically sourced. This is what makes our festival special — and what protects every artist who participates.
What we welcome
- Visual artists — original paintings, photography, prints
- Handmade crafts — ceramics, textiles, leather, woodwork
- Handmade jewelry — strictly handmade, limited spots
- Authentic cultural clothing & apparel
- Food artisans — tamales, salsas, pan dulce
- Produce & botanicals — herbs, flowers, succulents
- Hispanic-owned businesses — handmade/authentic only
- Community organizations & charities
Not accepted — no exceptions
- MLM companies — Herbalife, Scentsy, LuLaRoe, Avon, etc.
- Cup vendors / commercial print-on-demand merch
- Mass-produced jewelry — wholesale or catalog
- Resellers — no buying wholesale to sell as handmade
- Temu, Amazon, Shein or mass-produced imports
- Political campaign booths

★ All vendors must submit at least 3 product photos with their application. DCAC reserves the right to decline applications that don't meet handmade standards. No refunds within 30 days of the event.
