A permanent home for Hispanic artists and the broader arts community in Shelby County and surrounding rural communities. Open to anyone — Hispanic or not — who shares our passion for celebrating Hispanic culture and supporting the arts.
How it works
Monthly or semi-monthly meetings
Potential rotating venues around Shelbyville, until a permanent location is established.For now, Shelby Art Guild Association has permitted use of their space
Art showcases
Ability to display art in the SAGA gallery or other locations, exhibitions and community shows for members.
Guest artists
Symposiums and exhibits from local and/or visting artists.
Festival priority
Members get first invitation to vend at the De Colores Festival.
Open to all
Everyone is welcome — with a Hispanic community focus.
A real vote
Members vote in guild elections, can host classes, and shape what we do by having a voice. Bring your ideas to us. Final vote rests with the board.

The De Colores Arts Collective is open to anyone who shares our passion for celebrating Visual, Performance, and Culinary Arts in Shelby County and surrounding areas. Members shape what we do.
Monthly meetings happen on the 4th Wednesday of the month*. At each meeting we will discuss our ideas, plan for the future of the guild, plan for the arts festival and smaller vendor fairs, develop community programming, and more. Members get first dibs and earlybird access to exhibitions, vendor spots, community events and discounts to paid events.
